Make a professional Glassy Button using just Layer Styles, really easy to do and great outcome.
1. Make a rectangle using the Rounded Rectangle Tool.

2. Now we’re going to add it some Layer Styles, starting by a Drop Shadow.

3. Inner Glow.

4. Bevel and Emboss.

5. Satin.

6. Gradient Overlay: #60a8d8 ,#89bad3 ,#a8d8f0

7. Finally a Stroke, using #85b8d2 as color

8. So far your button should look like this:

9. Then add some text usign Myriad Pro in Semibold 30pt.

10. And add it a Drop Shadow.

11. Gradient Overlay: #f5f5f5 to #ffffff

12. And that’s it, your Glassy Button.

nice technique.
This tutorial is great, you’ve just forgot to put document size and rectangle (button) size (in px). Because of it, I didn’t get the exact result. Of course, maybe I did something wrong. If I did, please correct me. Again, great tutorial, thank you!
